Spartacus Vengeance Key Art

These are the final versions of the Key art / Poster art to promote the Starz Original Television Series, "Spartacus Vengeance". These pieces involved substantial 3D work in creating the background and extensive Photoshop work in replacing heads, body parts etc., adding blood, dirt and enhancements to the main figure, and combining all of the elements into a believable composition. Above: This is the matte painting created for the backdrop. This entailed incorporating several 3D renders that were created in Carrara, as well as some from the production unit of Spartacus. These elements were then combined with other photography to complete the scene above.

Below: The original photo of Spartacus used for the horizontal formats of the Key/Poster art after the initial retouching. A new head, blood, dirt and muscle enhancements were then added for the final products.
